Postcard exchange project


       This semester we have started a new "Exchange Postcard Project". The coordinator of the project is Mrs. Annalies Morris from Varendonck College, Netherlands.
       Our high school has two groups of students involved in this project. The first group is led by Mrs. Angela Porime, being involved in a postcard exchange with Netherlands, USA, Russia, France, Germany, Turkey.
      The second group is led by the teachers: Mrs. Delia Crisan and Anca Aflat. The involved countries are: Netherlands, India, USA, Finland, Serbia, Italy and France.
      Thank you very much to all the participants in these wonderful activities.

E- Pals Global Community Project


Hello.
The first semester of our E- Pals activity is dedicated for two projects.
The first one is realized with mr. Hye Rim Yong from Seonyoo High school, South Korea. Our students have sent introduction letters to Korea. We have received back a wonderful answer from the teacher and his students.
The second project is done with mr. Umit Yasar from Fatih Anadolu Lisesi, Adana, Turkey. Our students have sent a letter with some introductory ideas about them, their school and town.
Hope to continue these interesting projects in the next semester.

"Yummy Maraton" project


Back to school!

The new school year has started.We celebrate the " European Day of Modern languages" with our participation at the "Yummy Maraton " project initiated by "Automecanica" highschool and her manager mrs. Monica Mot. On 25th of September our team was involved in the first activity of the project. The team was formed of 5 students from XII th grade, coordinated by teacher Angela Porime.
The students were: Petac Georgiana, Cosovan Diana, Raica Simona, Costea Monica, Olteanu Teodora.






Our students had to prepare a vegetable salad using cabbage, lettuce, carrots. They made a short presentation in English.
Thank you very much all the schools that have participated, all participants, teachers and students.

“Europe Seen by the Young”- International project


This international project is held together with two countries: Poland and Turkey. The coordinator of the project is Mrs. Katargyna Wielgopolan from Polland. The duration of the project is of 2 years. The used language is English.

Activities: 

1. A chosen group of students exchanges e-mail addresses.
2. Masterchef International. - Each member of the project (each group) chooses two national dishes for the other members to cook and evaluate.
3. An international story (fairy tale), the title of which is to be suggested by the participants.
4. A guide of a young traveller. Each group chooses a country (their quide of the project member’s country) and creates a tourist guide with the most interesting places to visit by a young traveller.
5. The groups send each other seeds and bulbs of popular plants, then plant them and grow in their school gardens.

The Romanian team is formed of the college’s manager Mrs. Corina Tanase, the teacher of Informatics - Mrs. Delia Crisan, teacher of Economics Mrs. Maria Faur, teacher of English Mrs. Angela Porime.

Our first activity is called “Painting Eggs in Romania”.

The activity took place in the week called “Scoala altfel” when our students developed extra school activities. There participated students from the grades – IXD, XA. The students were dressed in Romanian traditional clothing “Ia Romaneasca”. They read different materials related to: Traditional ”Ia”, painting eggs in Maramures and general things - Painting Eggs in Romania. The students together with their teacher painted the eggs using coloured paper.

The traditional greeting is “Hristos a inviat!” that is for the English words ”Christ has resurrected.”
